1. How would you describe your overall level of satisfaction with us as your tour operator?
We really appreciated the ability to travel Japan on our own, but with the support for itinerary and logistics from Inside Japan. It reduced the amount of stress we would have felt with the planning and the inside tips made a difference in our overall experience!

Lexi was very attentive, helpful and responsive, but I did have to pay close attention to the details as there were a few errors that might have caused problems on the trip had they not been addressed before leaving.

3. How would you rate your package in terms of value for money?

4. How would you rate the accommodation against your expectations?
We appreciated that all our hotels were centrally located. Of the ones we stayed in, we found that the hotel in Shinjuku was the least enjoyable (but maybe that was ok for our last, one night stay - if it was nice, it would have been a lot harder to leave than it already was!)

Loved the train and IC cards. Really enjoyed the variety.

6. Please comment on any professional guiding included in your package?
The guides for Tokyo and Kyoto were very friendly and knowledgeable. The guide for Arigato Food Tours in Osaka (Marie) was exceptional.

Maybe
Our experience with Inside Japan gave a very good introduction to the country. If we return it would be for a specific, longer-term purpose (e.g. teaching) that I don't believe IJT provides. As I am now familiar with the transport and geography, it has also given me the confidence to try planning a return trip on my own.
